We have helped thousands
of men resume an active
sex life. We deal with the issues of sexual dysfunction frankly and without embarrassment.
We Now Know that ED is a Symptom, Not a Disease....
Erectile Dysfunction, commonly known as ED, affects over 1 million men in Florida alone. Basically, men who have ED cannot develop erections that are firm and/or long-lasting enough to achieve satisfactory sex. Most men over 40 will experience intermittent ED due to fatigue, stress
So at what point does an occasional disappointment become a worrisome problem that merits medical attention? Take the International Index
of Erectile Function (IIEF5) self test to help you decide if you should see a specialist about impotence.
30 million men in the United States experience either chronic or intermittent ED; the vast majority have causes that are easily treated. Men with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and on daily medication comprise the majority of our patients. Some of the most common problems that we see and successfully treat in our office include:
Medicines that can cause ED
Peyronie's disease is caused by
scar tissue, called plaque, which forms along the length of the penis
in the corpora cavernosa. This plaque is not visible, and depending on the severity of the condition, the plaque can cause the penis to bend, making sexual intercourse difficult and occasionally painful.
Men who have low testosterone
do not make enough of the male hormone called testosterone. This hormone allows men to produce sperm and to develop and keep normal physical male traits. Low testosterone can lead to problems such as loss of sex drive, muscle weakness, erection problems, infertility, and weakened bones.
Premature ejaculation is uncontrolled ejaculation either before or shortly after sexual penetration, with minimal sexual stimulation and before the person wishes. It may result in an unsatisfactory sexual experience for both partners. This can increase the anxiety that may contribute to the problem. Premature ejaculation is
one of the most common forms of male sexual dysfunction and has probably affected every man at
some point in his life.
We deal with the issue of sexual dysfunction frankly and without embarrassment. The entire practice is devoted solely to the non-surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction,
premature ejaculation, Peyronies Disease and low testosterone/desire.
"Five years ago, my Doctor put me on medicine to control my high blood pressure.
I have always had a healthy active sex life,
but about three years ago, I started noticing occasional erection problems. Dr. Carroll and his courteous staff displayed exceptional professionalism and made me feel comfortable. After tests, it was determined that the problem was caused by my blood pressure medication.
My erectile problems were successfully treated through medication and has eliminated the fears associated with it. I am still able to take my blood pressure medicine and maintain a normal life."

"I am a 63 year old retired businessman
with heart disease and hypertension. After my heart attack, I developed an erectile problem and but could not take Viagra.
I went to Dr. Carroll seeking relief. Staff technicians and the doctor did substantial testing and also counseled me. Their efforts have certainly changed the lifestyle for
me and my wife of 38 years. I heartily recommend Dr. Carroll for any male who
has this type of problem."
